Policies

Payment Policy: 
Full payment will be required at the time of booking the tour and services.

Cancellation Policy:

• 45+ days before travel: full refund after deduction of non-refundable deposit.
• 45-30 days before travel: 50% cancellation fee.
• 0-30 days before travel: 100% cancellation fee.
• Air tickets, visas, and travel insurance services are non-refundable (if applicable) and subject to 100% cancellation charges.

Refund Policy:
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7 to 10 working days via bank transfer or cheque payment after the agency acknowledges the cancellation in writing.

Child Policy: 

• 12 years and Above: Full cost as an Adult                
• From 6 Years to 11 years and 11 Months: 80% of the tour cost
• From 3 years to 5 years 11 months: 30% of the cost - No bed, No separate seat on Tours and trains & No meals
• Below 3 years: No seats, meals and extra bed

Terms & Condition

• Single supplement cost - JPY 10,000/- per person per night for 3 star, JPY 15,000/- per person per night for 4 star and JPY 25,000/- per person per night for 5 star.
• Prices are tentative only. No tours or hotels have been blocked. If there is a change in the itinerary/pricing, the same will be informed at the time of booking.
• Prices are Subject to change without prior notice due to currency fluctuations.
• Given cost is for reference only. No bookings have been made and rates are subject to availabity.
• There are a few non-operational dates for SIC tours.
• Children up to 5 years old may join free of charge on SIC Tours, but will not be provided with bus seats. But will be charged for other services.
• On certain days when the tours starts early, clients may have to have breakfast on their own. Some hotels do not offer packed breakfast. No refunds will be provided in such cases.
• SIC Airport transfers are available from 06:00 am to 08:00 pm. If flights are departing or arriving beyond these timings, clients will have to opt for private transfers or make their own arrangements to reach the airport.
• If the minimum number of participants is not met before the scheduled date, or due to other operational management circumstances, the tour on that date may be canceled and a refund will be provided for the same.
• Quotation is calculated based on 1 suitcase per person.
• On days when certain attractions, monuments, museums, etc are closed, the tour coordinator reserves the right to amend the Itinerary.
• Costs are subject to change due to currency fluctuations or any other statutory increases beyond our control.
• Hotels quoted are subject to availability. If not available, Hotels of Similar Grade will be booked.
• Requests such as Non-Smoking/Twin/Double rooms will be forwarded but are subject to hotel's discretion
• Mandatory Accommodation Taxes are collected by the property directly from the clients as below:
  • JPY 500/- to JPY 1000/- per person per day for Five star hotels
  • JPY 200/- per person per day for Four star hotels
  • JPY 100/- per person per day for Three star hotels or below
• The check-in time for hotels in Japan is 15:00 hours & check-out until 10:00 hours
• Hotel rooms are small in Japan. Below is the reference for hotel rooms in different category of hotels:
  • 3-Star: Standard Double / Twin room: 10~14 Sq mtrs
  • 4-Star: Standard Double / Twin room: 15~20 sq mtrs
  • 5-Star: Standard Double / Twin room: 20~30 sq mtrs
• The itinerary can be altered due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather/ heavy traffic conditions etc. No refunds will be provided in such casesncy fluctuations.
