important cultural landmarks. Visit the Hemis Monastery, a major Tibetan Buddhist site, and the Thiksey
Monastery, which resembles the Potala Palace in Lhasa. You’ll also stop by the Leh Palace, an ancient royal
palace offering panoramic views of the city, and Stok Palace, the residence of the royal family. This day
gives you a deep dive into Leh’s spiritual and cultural history.
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, ride towards the scenic Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, a sacred Sikh site. En route, you’ll visit
the Sangam, the confluence of the Zanskar and Indus Rivers, where the two rivers merge, creating a striking
contrast in colors. Continue to the Likir Monastery, which dates back to the 11th century, and features a
large statue of Maitreya Buddha. End your ride at Ule or Alchi, both known for their serene landscapes and
monasteries.

have preserved their ancient traditions. The ride will continue over Batalik, passing through rugged
landscapes and high-altitude passes, including Hamboting La, offering spectacular mountain views.

mountains. The town of Kargil, steeped in history, is a gateway to Ladakh.
Breakfast at the hotel.Today’s ride takes you to Dras, the second-coldest inhabited place on Earth, known for its strategic
significance during the Kargil War of 1999. You’ll visit the Kargil War Memorial, a somber and poignant
site honoring the soldiers who fought here. After paying respects, you’ll return to Kargil, following the same
scenic route. This day provides insight into the region's military history, along with captivating views of the
surrounding mountains.

streams, and views of the mighty Nun Kun mountain range. On your way, you’ll stop at a famous Buddha
Statue that overlooks the valley. As you reach Rangdum, you’ll be greeted by expansive grasslands, home
to nomadic shepherds and yaks. Rangdum is a remote, tranquil place, perfect for a quiet overnight stay.

On your way, you’ll cross Pensila Pass, offering spectacular views of the valley and the Twin Lakes area,
known for its crystal-clear waters and stunning beauty. The ride is long but rewarding, with rugged terrain,
high passes, and peaceful landscapes, making Padum a perfect base to explore further into Zanskar.

offering breathtaking views. The road, though challenging, is full of surprises, with pristine landscapes,
traditional Ladakhi villages, and beautiful monasteries dotting the route. You may also encounter local
wildlife along the way. By the end of the day, you'll reach Wanla/Ule.

scenic monasteries in Ladakh, with its unique moon-like landscape. The journey takes you through the Fotu
La Pass, providing incredible views of the surrounding mountains. The ride back to Leh will offer a chance
to reflect on your journey while taking in the last glimpses of Ladakh’s stunning beauty.
